With Small Island Read 2007 we want to encourage people to talk about what they have read with friends, family, colleagues and neighbours. On this page we will post a selection of comments received by readers about what they think of the novel.

We also encourage people to share their stories of migration, whether these be personal experiences of coming to or leaving Britain, encountering people who have just arrived here or tracing a family history, as well as personal reflections on what it means to be British. We welcome digital photos and other images to illustrate this section. We will also be including poems and short stories inspired by the migration and identity themes.

Send your contributions to blcmail@btopenworld.com.
